Here are some tips based on my personal experiences and observations to spot a fake prada purse:

1.Prada handbags are popular because first and for-most they are made from quality materials. Take a good look at the stitching. There should be no loose or missing stitches, the color of the thread should match the main color of the bag and the stitches should be evenly spaced.

2. Check the hardware. All Prada hardware is antique brass. If you find hardware that is rusted, old, or worn, then it probably is not a authentic Prada handbag.
Check the coloration, the size, and the condition. All Prada products offer the same superb and excellent hardware.
This includes zippers, clasps, closures, buckles, and any possible chains that may be attached to the handbag.

3.See if the inside lining has a small tag on it. The tag should be metal, not plastic, and it should say "Prada Made in Italy." A plastic or fabric tag is a sign of a fake Prada. If the tag says anything other than the correct phrase, the bag is a fake.

4.Many handbags are made of different types of leather, from Lambskin, Calfskin, Goatskin and Patent Leather, but it is easy to distinguish if the leather is of a good quality or not. The lining is usually made of a satin material that has a nice shine to it.

5.The lining should say prada going horizontal all over it ( For example: Prada~Prada~Prada~), its Pradas signature lining that is used in most of their bags and the fake bags well have something that looks like it but it wont say prada!

6. It should have a serial number from Prada and come with authenticity tags and a dust bag.Avoid bags that come with a certificate of authenticity or other kind of documentation. This is a sign of a replica, so beware of sellers who claim to have these documents as proof of their authenticity.
